Anna’s Favourites Day 8: The Fray

fray

  1. What draws me to this particular artist’s music?

I only have two albums of The Fray in my iTunes library, but I love those albums very much. I like their (softer) rock sound and the fact that they have Christian elements in some of their songs. (Also, thank you, Louis Tomlinson for introducing me to this band. *cringes*)

2. Which is my favourite album or EP from this artist?

Probably How to Save a Life, but I also have a soft spot for The Fray.

3. What are my favourite songs from this artist?

“Over My Head (Cable Car)” and “Never Say Never” are my absolute favourites. I also love “How to Save a Life” and “Enough for Now” (I love the story of the latter).

4a. Which song best describes my past?

Probably “Never Say Never” and “Little House.”

A part of you that’ll never show
You’re the only one that’ll ever know
Take it back when it all began
Take your time, would you understand
What it’s all about?

4b. Which song best describes my life right now?

“You Found Me”

Why’d you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late
You found me, you found me

4c. Which song best describes I want my future to be like?

“Look After You” and “Be the One”

Be the one and only, wait for me
Will you be the only one
Will you be, be the one and only

EXTRA

I also really love Florida Georgia Line, but I’m not going to make a separate post for them. My favourite song of theirs at the moment is the newer “God, Your Mama, and Me” (a now and future song ;0). “Angel” always makes me giggle (did it hurt when you fell from the sky?) and I just love the feel-good-country sound of “This Is How We Roll” (the entire video just makes me cringe so just. don’t.) and “Cruise.”
